Rising from an existing foundation, a new house was created here from an awkward cottage that had once been a carriage house.  A new front entrance was established and the interior was entirely restructured to maximize the use of space.  Interior living areas now flow out to a handsome screened porch overlooking a new pool. On the exterior, a new rooftop cupola hints at the structure’s origin as a carriage house.
